After a 3-hour drive (100 km/62 miles), we will reach the village of Cusipata at 3,329 meters (10,922 feet). Here, we will enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast to energize ourselves for the day.

From Cusipata, we will drive another 1 hour to the starting point of the Rainbow Mountain hike at 4,626 meters (15,177 feet). The hike will cover approximately 7 km (4.3 miles) round trip. Along the way, we will marvel at the rugged mountain range and lush Andean landscapes. Our tour guide will explain the fascinating geology and cultural history of this unique region.

The highlight of the tour will be reaching Vinicunca, the stunning Rainbow Mountain, at 5,200 meters (17,060 feet). Its vibrant hues, formed by mineral deposits over millions of years, will amaze you. We will take time to explore and capture photos of the panoramic views, including the majestic Ausangate Mountain.
