We will begin our Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco, heading to the town of Pisac. Known for its vibrant market and impressive Inca ruins, Pisac offers a perfect introduction to the Sacred Valley. The ruins also feature a burial area carved into the mountain, adding to the site’s historical significance. Visiting Pisac allows us to connect with the past while enjoying the stunning natural surroundings.

OLLANATAYTAMBO

Ollantaytambo is a remarkable Inca site located in the Sacred Valley, known for its impressive terraces and ancient fortress. This town, often referred to as a living Inca city, retains its original layout and architecture.

The Ollantaytambo archaeological site offers beautiful views of the valley and shows the Incas’ advanced stonework and farming terraces. Visiting Ollantaytambo allows us to step back in time, experiencing the grandeur of Inca civilization firsthand.

Next, we will continue our journey to Ollantaytambo, a town with impressive Inca ruins. The Ollantaytambo archaeological site is one of the most important Inca sites in the valley. We will visit its massive terraces, sacred temples, and the fortress that once guarded the region.

The incredible stonework of the site showcases Inca engineering skills. We will enjoy a guided tour, learning more about the history of Ollantaytambo and its role in Inca times.

In the late afternoon, we will return to Cusco, reflecting on the highlights of this enriching day trip. We will arrive back in Cusco by evening, full of stories and memories from our exploration.
