We will take you on a sunrise balloon tour over Cusco for a truly magical experience. The adventure will start early, just before dawn, as the Andean sky begins to glow. You will feel the crisp morning air while watching our expert team prepare the balloon.

This will be a brief but safe aerostation experience with a securely tethered balloon. We will rise up to 80 meters (260 feet), floating gently with natural wind currents. Sunrise Balloon Tours Over Cusco – A Truly Magical Experience

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco’s historic center between 4:30 AM and 5:00 AM. If your hotel is outside this area, we will meet at Plaza Regocijo. Our comfortable transport will take us on a 15-minute drive to the flight zone, near the Sacsayhuamán archaeological park. The journey will offer a glimpse of Cusco’s quiet streets before dawn.

Arrival and Safety Briefing

We will arrive at Zona X, a natural viewpoint surrounded by Andean landscapes and tall trees. Here, our expert pilot will provide a safety briefing. We will explain the balloon’s operation, security measures, and flight procedure. The crew will begin inflating the hot air balloon as the sky transitions from night to dawn.

Balloon Flight and Watching Sunrise

We will board the balloon in small groups of two to three people per ascent. The flight will rise to 80 meters (260 feet), offering panoramic views of Cusco and its valleys. The sunrise will illuminate Sacsayhuamán’s stone walls, rolling hills, and the city below. Each ascent will last several minutes, allowing enough time to admire the scenery.

While waiting for turns, guests can capture photos from the ground. Our team will play with angles to create fun perspective shots with the balloon. Multiple ascents will continue until all groups have experienced the flight.

After the last flight, we will gather for a traditional ballooning ceremony with Champagne. This toast will honor the magical experience and the history of hot air ballooning. Our guide will share insights into balloon flight traditions and the meaning behind this special moment.

We will enjoy a delicious picnic breakfast while appreciating the peaceful morning atmosphere. The meal will include sweet and savory breads, fresh juice, coffee, and herbal infusions. The fresh Andean air and surrounding nature will enhance the experience.

After breakfast, we will board our transport back to Cusco. The short drive will allow time to reflect on the experience and admire the early morning city views. We will drop you off at Plaza de Armas around 8:30 AM. From here, you may continue exploring Cusco or join another tour.
